As a Painting Supervisor you will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, and completing assigned painting projects to the highest quality standards. You will work on a variety of projects, ensuring that the final product is both aesthetically pleasing and durable. This position is based onsite at Forest Glen, QLD.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as needed.Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.Follow safety guidelines and company protocols to ensure a safe working environment.Select appropriate materials and tools for each job.Repair and fill cracks, holes, and other imperfections before painting.Mix and match paints to ensure accurate colours.Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.Ensure all work areas are clean and organized before and after the job.Collaborate with the team to complete projects on time and to customer satisfaction.About you:
Proven experience as a professional Painter.Strong knowledge of various painting techniques, materials, and surface preparation.Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.Ability to read blueprints, plans, and specifications is a plus.Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.The ability to read and write, along with arithmetic skills, is crucial.Ability to use hand tools and operate basic machinery.We are the ASSA ABLOY GroupOur people have made us the global leader in access solutions.
