Painter & Decorator

We are looking for a qualified and competent Painter with a good attitude and who wants to be part of a professional and positive team.  We require the successful applicant to: Perform all aspects of painting, including surface preparation, priming, painting, and finishing.
Work on various projects, including industrial, residential and commercial sites.
Apply different painting techniques, such as brush, roller, and spray painting, to achieve high-quality results.
Prepare and protect surfaces using appropriate materials, tools, and techniques.
Mix and match paint colours and finishes to achieve desired outcomes.
Ensure proper cleanup and disposal of materials at the end of each job.
Work with other team members to coordinate tasks and support apprentices with on-the-job guidance  Communicate with site managers and/or homeowners to ensure they understand the nature and sequencing of the work planned and communicate feedback.
Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations at all times.
  Requirements: At least 3 years of professional painting experience.
Certificate III Trade qualification in painting or a related field.
Proficient knowledge of various painting techniques and finishes.
Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work.
Familiarity with different types of paint, brushes, rollers, and other painting tools.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Strong time management skills and ability to meet project deadlines.
Commitment to safety protocols and practices.
Must have own transport.
All work is in Brisbane and surrounding suburbs.
This is a full-time position with a remuneration of $75,000 plus superannuation.
