We are growing and always on the lookout for high calibre individuals to join our store teams. The Inspirations Paint Store at Bathurst is looking for an enthusiastic full time Paint Sales Assistant, to commence in the new year.
Previous experience within the paint industry is preferred as the paint industry is a specialised industry and we pride ourselves on providing accurate and professional advice to our customers. Relevant personal experience in home improvement projects or within the paint or hardware industries is an advantage.
The successful applicant would be genuinely interested in people and their projects, and in also providing an exceptional customer experience to both our retail and trade customers. The current position is available for an enthusiastic and motivated individual seeking an opportunity to develop their career. Store hours are 7:00am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday and 8:00am to 12:00pm Saturday.
Responsibilities include: Providing exceptional customer service to both retail and trade customersTinting & mixing paintFollowing the "Inspirations Way"Provide exceptional customer service and product knowledge in the areas of paint and protective coatings, while assisting with sales, stock control and merchandisingStore presentation, stock management, housekeepingReporting to the Store ManagerWorkplace Health & SafetyExperience / Attributes: Demonstrated customer service and customer focusWell presentedAble to contribute and work in a dynamic small team environmentApproachable, confident and energetic with a pleasant disposition and the ability to effectively deal with customer queries and/or customer complaintsAttention to detail, initiative and the ability to learn new systemsHonest, reliable and punctualCurrent driver's licence preferredThis role involves heavy lifting up to 25kgsIf you are enthusiastic and motivated and have a genuine interest in people and providing an exceptional customer experience, we would like to hear from you.
