Residents & Registrars (Healthcare & Medical)Base annual salary before allowances $125,900.84 to $173,290.00 Dependant on years of serviceThe roleThe Paediatric Provisional Registrar will work alongside the Advance Trainee Registrar and forms part of the senior team with the Junior Medical Staff within a clinical team. The primary function of this role is the provision of care for patients and families at a level of skill and autonomy consistent with training in Paediatrics.The Successful Provisional Registrar will:Provide high quality comprehensive medical care to neonates and paediatric inpatients, including those with complex problemsProvide appropriate advice and support to GP's doctors in ED and other health professionals regarding paediatric patients, supervised by the PaediatriciansBe actively involved in the education and training of junior staff and other health professionals regarding paediatric issuesConduct clinics in the Specialist Clinic for patients including general paediatric, endocrine disorders and behavioural disorders.To be successful in this role, you will have:AHPRA registrationDemonstrated ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary teamAdvanced communication skillsDemonstrated leadership abilityAdvanced of Basic Paediatric Life Support or EMST certification and DHHS Child Protection Training would be advantageousWhat we can offer youRegular in-service education, study leave and professional development opportunities.Access to Salary Packaging (pay less tax!) and novated leasingStaff Wellbeing Program and Employee Assistance ProgramAt MBPH, we continue to strengthen our focus on diversity, equity and inclusion practices.
