Group Packaging Technologist Salary: c£50,000k - £60,000k

Overview:Packaging innovation is an incredibly important part of this food manufacturer's strategy to drive forward their sustainability.
They're seeking a Packaging Technologist who wants to work with a market leader and can support the Head of on all ESG and sustainability matters.
Candidate:You will be able to exemplify in-depth food packaging and systems knowledge.You will have gained said knowledge in a branded / own label food manufacturing environment.Ideally, you will have a Degree / Diploma in packaging technology.Having exposure to working with overheads and stakeholders independently.Ability to create, innovate and investigate more sustainable practices.Beneficial if you have 3D printing experience.Beneficial if you have cost management and procurement experience when it comes to packaging departments.The Role:Working closely with the Head of Packaging, in-directs, and group services to support the ongoing strategy.Assist in building and maintaining the innovation packaging reduction program, driving continuous improvement and sustainable policies.Ensure all packaging compliance is maintained for effective delivery.Lead and attend packaging trials.Travelling to suppliers and other sites as and when required.Taking ownership of all the packaging wastage and costs.The Company:They're on a mission to be seen as the industry leaders in this category.A hugely successful food manufacturing business with a global reach.If you're interested in this opportunity, please submit your CV via the link provided quoting reference HM/TNT/672.
