The Role We are looking for a dedicated, compassionate and motivated nurse to work overnight at our Mornington Hospital. You will be expected to be able to:
Monitor patient comfort and vital signs and maintainpatient chartsAdminister medications.Handle patients, toileting and exerciseMonitor & maintain CRI's, fluid therapy, urinary catheters, patient drains etc.Update patient records and communicate with clients as requiredMaintain a high standard of ward organisation and cleanlinessProcess, clean & pack surgical instrumentsClean theatre & whole hospital as requiredRestock hospitalRequirements: Certificate IV or equivalent qualification with 2 years experienceA professional and positive demeanourAn ability to deliver a high standard of patient careAbility to work efficiently with initiative both in a team and autonomouslyExceptional organisational skillsAn extensive knowledge and understanding of veterinary nursing proceduresThe Benefits Southpaws is committed to leading the way in creating a workplace that operates the way we believe they should, rather than the way they always have.
