What they are looking for: A degree in Veterinary Medicine. A minimum of 3 years experience. Sole charge responsibilities. Ability to work evening and overnight shifts. Your Role Is: As an Overnight Emergency and Critical Care Vet, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality care. Responsibilities include:
Emergency Response: Responding promptly to emergency cases that arrive during the night/after-hours. Providing overnight care to existing medical and surgical patients from surrounding general practitioners that need supervision overnight. Critical Care: Providing intensive monitoring and treatment to critically ill patients. Diagnostic Expertise: Triaging and applying thorough examinations and appropriate diagnostics for critical care treatment. Performing emergency surgeries when necessary. Client Communication. Documentation and Record-Keeping. Team Support: Providing mentorship and guidance to all support staff working overnight. Your role is demanding yet incredibly rewarding, as you play a crucial part in saving lives and providing compassionate care to animals in their time of greatest need.
