Job DescriptionAbout the Position St Peter's College is currently seeking applications for Casual Outdoor Education Facilitators for 2025. As an Outdoor Education Facilitator, you will work with students to ensure they are well prepared and appropriately supported whilst participating in their Outdoor Education experiences. The role is primarily field-based with additional preparation, set-up, and pack-up of activities. Opportunities for successful applicants will commence in February and culminate in the Year 10 Journey (21 Days) in June. Further opportunity is available for programs in Term 3 and 4, 2025.
A willingness to support the School's values and Anglican ethos.Experience in working with young people.Expedition experience (working on extended expeditions is desirable, but not essential).The ability to facilitate in a remote area (in conjunction with a co-facilitator and program support).Provide a First Aid and/or Wilderness First Aid Certificate.Prior to commencement, successful applicants will be required to have a South Australian Working with Children Check and Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education and Care Certificate - Fundamentals and Masterclass.
