Our Client RGM Maintenance Pty Ltd Townsville's premier destination for Daimler Trucks and high-quality pre-owned vehicles, are looking for a skilled Metal Fabricator to join their dedicated team.

The Role: Mark off and fabricate structural steel and other metal stock.
Study blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine job requirements.
Select, clean, and prepare metal stock for fabrication.
Cut and shape metal sections using hand tools, flame cutting torches, and metal cutting machines.
Shape and bend metal sections and pipes using hand and machine tools, including heating and hammering.
Align parts for joining using hand tools and measuring instruments.
Join metal sections using various welding techniques, bolting, and riveting.
Examine welds for width of bead, penetration, and precision.
Finish and clean products to meet quality standards.
Qualifications: Trade certificate in metal fabrication or related field.
At least 3 years of experience in metal fabrication or a similar role.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
