$42.30-45.20 p/h  + penalties Local 9 day fortnight  Workshop locally to Newcastle  Permanent Position, Immediate Start The role 2XM Recruit  are excited to be partnered with several clients in the Newcastle and Hunter region are looking for highly skilled and motivated Vehicle Body Builders  to join their dynamic teams. You will be providing cutting-edge machinery engineering and installation services. You will be playing a crucial role in unique projects delivering maintenance, repair and installation of mechanical systems and equipment across various industries, such as rail, mining, and general engineering. The successful candidates will work for reputable companies committed to innovation, safety, and excellence.   Skills & Experience: Experience in vehicle body building, boat building or associated fabrication trade. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, and follow instructions and work procedures. Assemble vehicles and conduct repairs Be able to work independently and as part of a team Demonstrate a high quality of workmanship, attention to detail Be physically capable to perform repetitive tasks – lifting, bending, twisting Ability to use a variety of hand & power tools Qualifications & Requirements: Australian Trade Certification  Australian fulltime working rights. Current drivers licence and/or reliable transport. High Risk Work License; LF Forklift License VOC Over head crane highly desirable. Working at Heights or willing to obtain. Ability to pass pre-employment Medical and Drug & Alcohol Screening.
