Job Title: OSHC Coordinator Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated OSHC (Outside School Hours Care) Coordinator to manage and oversee all aspects of our before and after school care programs.
As an OSHC Coordinator, you will provide a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for children while ensuring compliance with all regulations.
This role involves planning activities, supervising staff, managing operations, and fostering strong relationships with parents and stakeholders.
Key Details: Pay Rate: $45 per hour Sign-Up Bonus: $1,500 Split Shift Allowance: Additional allowance provided Work Hours: Split shifts, 6:30 AM - 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM Location: Wanneroo, Joondalup, Ocean Reef, and Nedlands Key Responsibilities: Program Planning & Implementation: Develop and deliver fun, engaging, and age-appropriate activities for children during before and after school hours, ensuring they promote social, emotional, and physical development.
Staff Supervision & Training: Lead, supervise, and support staff to ensure they are skilled in safety, behaviour management, and child development.
Provide professional development and conduct regular performance evaluations.
Child Safety & Well-being: Create a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all children.
Implement health and safety policies and ensure compliance with behaviour management strategies.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the program adheres to all childcare regulations, licensing requirements, and quality standards.
Maintain accurate records for audits and inspections.
Parent & Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary contact for parents and caregivers, providing updates and addressing concerns.
Collaborate with schools and community stakeholders as needed.
Daily Operations & Administration: Manage day-to-day operations, including staff scheduling, budget oversight, and administrative tasks such as enrolment and attendance reporting.
Continuous Improvement: Assess program effectiveness and implement improvements based on feedback from children, parents, and staff.
Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education, Childcare, or a related field.
Experience in OSHC or a similar childcare setting.
Strong understanding of childcare regulations and safety standards.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
Ability to work effectively with staff, children, parents, and the community.
