Orthoptist

We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Orthoptist to work closely with a busy Ophthalmologist once a week in the Sunbury area.Clinical Duties include, but are not limited to:Initial/follow up assessment and testing of general ophthalmic conditionsWorking alongside the Clinician to help manage their patient loadAssisting in Imaging DepartmentAssisting in minor procedures such as intravitreal injectionsAssisting in ordering of supplies & items required for consultationApplicants should ideally possess:Tertiary Qualifications in OrthopticsRegistered member with the AOBDemonstrated knowledge and skills in Orthoptic assessments and the provision of servicesAbility to work across all eye specialtiesAbility to work in a multi-disciplinary teamExcellent interpersonal skillsJob Type: Part-timePay: $40.00 – $45.00 per hourExpected hours: 8 – 16 per weekSchedule:Day shiftAbility to commute/relocate:Sunbury, VIC 3429: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)Work Authorisation:Australia (Preferred)Work Location: In person
