Description: Orthoptist required for expanding Inner West General Ophthalmology Practice.
General Ophthalmic practice, thus patients that are seen are cataracts, pterygia, eyelid disorders, medical retina, glaucoma, paediatrics, and dry eye.
Casual position initially in view of becoming Permanent Part Time or Full Time.
Duties will include: Assessing patients for screeningMeasuring Vision (of all ages), IOPPerforming scans: A scan, OCT, Visual FieldsAssessing Dry Eye Patients in view of potentially running/assisting with a Dry Eye ClinicPotential to come to theatre if appeals to orthoptist (not necessary but an option).
Expanding practice, thus scope for more hours and days if needed.
An excellent opportunity for an orthoptist at all levels.
