- Ongoing We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Research Physiotherapist to join our Orthopaedic Team.
About the role: Reporting to the Clinical Director, as the Research Orthopaedic Physiotherapist you will have involvement in the initiation, formulation and coordination of patient outcome studies, evidence-based practice.
Preparation of grant applications, ethics submissions, data collection and analysis, interpretation and reporting of findings.
This role is also a shared position.
Duties for the role will include: The incumbent will have indirect client contact in response to data collection management,Coordination of medical student placements- In conjunction with senior consultants and University personnel,Contributing to the development of an integrated team approach and culture which is highly responsive to the needs of consumers.Participating actively in outcomes assessment projects to completion; publishing and presenting results,Liaising with hospital staff, professional and educational organisations, other university departments and external service providers to develop collaborative research.
About you: Degree or equivalent qualification that entitles registration as a Physiotherapist in AustraliaAbility to assume responsibility for the development and completion of outcomes assessment projects,Experience in setting up and completing relevant projects as evidenced by presentations and publications,Skills in evaluating research studies to apply relevant findings to protocols,Good time management skills.
