The Opportunity
Orrcon Steel is looking for a Account Manager in our Sales team based in Kewdale .
Orrcon Steel is a manufacturer of steel tube and pipe and leading Australian steel distributor with nationally recognised brands.

In this customer-facing opportunity you will grow and build strong partnering relationships with our customers, now and for the future.
Working closely with customer service, operations and supply chain teams to deliver product and service delivery for our valued customers and achieve growth in revenue, margin, and market share.
Previous steel experience is not essential, but a passion to succeed and drive to deliver exceptional customer service is!

This opportunity includes a competitive remuneration package including a laptop, phone, a company vehicle, and profit share plan (bonus).

You will look after a geographic territory that encompasses Perth and part of regional WA.
This may require infrequent and/or short overnight travel depending on how you plan your call and visit cycle.

What Will You Do?

Covering a territory across the Perth metropolitan area, you will:
Implement a purposeful call planning cycle and face-to-face client meetings to develop and maintain profitable business with new and existing clients.
Identify new business opportunities with new customers and identify opportunities to grow business with existing customers.
Continue strong customer relations by executing market plans and strategies with consideration to business objectives, individual customer requirements and market conditions.
Work collaboratively with the internal teams to fulfill and exceed customer needs.
Undertake price maintenance activities and database management.
