As the Production Lead , you will play a key role in driving the success of our team and plant, you'll be responsible for leading a team of 4 direct reports and 36 indirect reports being an integral part of a high-performance team working to meet our production targets while maintaining cost-effective and safe operations.
Key Responsibilities Reporting into the Manufacturing Manager and working Monday to Friday (6am- 3pm) the key responsibilities of the Production Lead will include but are not limited to:
Lead and develop manufacturing teams, ensuring the growth of both direct and indirect reports. Drive best practices in production to achieve optimal results. Manage plant expenditure, efficiency, and quality within budgeted levels to ensure cost-effective production. Support the development of autonomous work groups and maintain a strong commitment to safety, environmental standards, and quality systems. Oversee training and development programs to ensure continuous improvement. Work with the Manufacturing Manager to set key objectives and regularly review and adjust performance. About You A trade or tertiary qualification in Engineering, Mechanical, or Electrical (preferred). Proven success in a similar Production Lead role, ideally within fast-paced, high-speed manufacturing environments. A track record of motivating and driving high-performance teams while fostering a positive, inclusive culture. Proactive and solution-focused, particularly with safety, quality, and production targets. Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with teams What We Offer
