You'll lead a team of 25-30 operators, ensuring clear communication, efficient task coordination, and minimal downtime.Whether you're troubleshooting machinery, supporting construction, or helping to refine design plans, your hands-on approach will be crucial to achieving annual development milestones.Key Responsibilities:Lead and supervise staff across a 25km property, navigating the challenges of communication and coordination.Provide practical input on irrigation and land-levelling design - no need to be an expert, just someone with solid, real-world know-how.Roll up your sleeves when needed, keeping projects on track and minimising disruptions.Oversee the setup of machinery, pump stations, and field operations, ensuring seamless progress throughout the development.What You Bring:Our ideal candidate brings hands-on experience in farm development and bulk earthworks, with a solid grasp of agricultural or civil construction standards.
Familiarity with irrigation systems is a plus.We're looking for someone who combines strong leadership skills with technical know-how, especially in GPS systems (like Trimble Field Level 2), and who's not afraid to get hands-on with machinery when the job demands it.
