About the role Origin Energy is looking for an experienced and innovative Coordinator – HSE Management System to join our HSE team. This 13 month contracting role is pivotal in ensuring that our HSE Management System continues to be fit for purpose, supports us to meet regulatory requirements and company standards whilst also enabling us to achieve our business strategy and growth objectives. Your responsibilities will include:
Fostering innovation in the design, development, and ongoing improvement of Origin's HSE Management System, working closely with HSE subject matter experts and Business Unit HSE teams. Integrating new technologies and best practices to enhance the usability and effectiveness of the HSE Management System. Facilitating consultation processes, assessing impact on stakeholders, and driving engagement on HSE systems. Overseeing the creation, maintenance and accessibility of key HSE documents and tools and supporting the management of HSE content and systems. Preparing for and supporting internal and external audits, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement. Collaborating on training initiatives and HSE programs to ensure end users are competent in the use of the management system. Collecting, analyzing and reporting on statistical information to track progress, identify trends and recommend improvements. What will you bring? We are seeking an individual who is technically skilled and knowledgeable in HSE. The candidate should have proven hands-on experience in HSE roles, particularly with a focus on document and systems management. They should be proactive, driven, and bring energy and initiative to their tasks. Additionally, you will be able to demonstrate:
A Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Information Management, or a related field. Document Dynamo: Your innovative approach to systems thinking combined with hands-on experience creating, editing and managing documents within a HSE context will set you apart. Experience with document management software, Microsoft Office and tools like OpenText, SharePoint and TeamBinder. Excellent time management and ability to stay organized.
