Role Overview:
As our Defence and Security project portfolio grows, we are looking for an Organisational Capability Development Specialist to join our team in Canberra. In this essential role, you will collaborate with our forward-thinking client, dedicated to enhancing operational effectiveness and driving innovation on an exciting upcoming project. You will play a crucial part in this long-term initiative and will need to hold an active NV2 clearance.
Responsibilities: Provide expert advice and leadership in assessing organisational capabilities, helping our client to develop tailored improvement strategies. Select and integrate appropriate industry frameworks and models to drive enhancements on this key project. Conduct capability maturity assessments and develop relevant metrics to define and manage processes effectively. Facilitate the creation of repeatable and reliable capabilities through structured processes of trial, feedback, learning, and continuous improvement. Design and implement techniques, tools, and skill enhancement programs to elevate the organisation's capabilities. Develop and deliver comprehensive solutions that connect people, processes, and technology to boost performance in alignment with strategic goals. Identify and prioritise areas for performance enhancement, addressing new business opportunities and responding to external drivers. About You: Proven experience in organisational development or capability improvement roles. Hold an NV2 security clearance. Strong knowledge of industry frameworks and models (e.g., ITIL, Agile, CMMI). Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience with capability maturity assessments and process metrics. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with stakeholders. Ability to design and deliver training and development programs. A rewarding career:
