Seeking an Oracle Developer to design, develop, and maintain Oracle databases for a NSW Government department. Strong PL/SQL and database optimization skills required, with experience in Oracle administration and system integration.
Responsibilities: Oracle Forms Development:
• Design, develop, and maintain Oracle Forms applications to meet functional requirements and enhance user experience within the Asset Management System.
• Customize and extend existing Oracle Forms modules to support new features and functionalities as per project requirements. Database Management and Integration:
• Work closely with Oracle databases, writing SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers to ensure seamless data integration and retrieval within the AMS.
• Optimize database performance and conduct data validation to ensure data accuracy and reliability. System Enhancements and Support:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, QA engineers, and stakeholders to implement system enhancements and resolve technical issues.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Oracle Forms applications, ensuring timely resolution of issues and maintaining system uptime. Documentation and Compliance:
• Create and maintain technical documentation including design specifications, deployment guides, and user manuals for Oracle Forms applications.
• Ensure compliance with coding standards, security protocols, and best practices in Oracle Forms development. Qualifications: Proven experience (10+ years) as an Oracle Forms Developer or similar role, with expertise in designing and developing Oracle Forms applications. Strong proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL programming, including database design, optimization, and performance tuning. Experience with Oracle Forms Builder and Oracle Reports, with the ability to customize and extend forms to meet business requirements. Familiarity with Oracle database administration tasks such as schema management, data migration, and backup/restore procedures. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Oracle certification (e.g., Oracle Forms Developer Certified Professional) a plus.
