Responsibilities: Develop and maintain robust databasesystems, including schema design, stored procedures, queries, and scripts fordata manipulation and retrieval. Ensure high performance, security, andscalability of database systems. Utilize Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) todesign and implement ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes that integratedata from various sources into a cohesive and efficient architecture. Optimizedata flows to improve performance and reliability. Support the development of reporting and analyticssolutions using Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE).Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs and deliverinsightful, actionable reports. Leverage cloud technologies for datastorage, processing, and analytics. Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure(OCI), and Azure is desirable. Implement and maintain cloud-based datasolutions, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and cost-effective. Work closely with the Solutions Architectand other team member to support the development and implementation anddatabase and data strategies. Provide technical expertise and recommendationsto improve program outcomes. Background as an Oracle Developer / OracleData Engineer Strong proficiency in Oracle database technologies, SQL, PL/SQL,and experience with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) and Oracle BusinessIntelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE). Applicants must possess a minimum of 5years of hands-on experience as an Oracle Database Developer, with a solidtrack record of developing, optimizing, and managing complex Oracle databasesystems, including extensive experience with database migrations, performancetuning, and implementing advanced features of Oracle 11g and 19c. Cloud Technologies Experience with cloudplatforms such as Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI and Azure Platform).Knowledge of cloud-based data warehousing, ETL, and analytics services ishighly desirable. Data Modelling Solid understanding of datamodelling concepts and experience designing and implementing relational anddimensional data models. Analytical Skills Ability to analysecomplex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights. Experience withdata visualization tools and techniques is a plus. Problem-Solving Strong problem-solving skillsand the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively. Must be able to provideefficient and scalable solutions to meet business needs. Communication Excellent communication skills,both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex technical conceptsto non-technical stakeholders. Familiarity with Federal Government ICT
Oracle Database and Tools Experience. o Oracle certifications and training inOracle technologies, cloud platforms, and data engineering are highly desirable. o Development proficiency in Oracle and Azuredatabases and related tools, with a preference for experience in cloud basedsolutions. Your expertise in Oracle and some knowledge of Azure will be anasset in our data transformation initiatives. SAFe and/or Agile Experience/ExposureFamiliarity with SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) or other agile methodologies isa plus. Experience or exposure to agile practices will help streamline programdelivery.
