MMG Dugald River: Dugald River is one of the world's top 10 Zinc mine operations, producing zinc concentrate for customers around the world since 2017. The mine is committed to a low-carbon future; in April 2023, the Dugald River Solar Farm began operations, supplying a third of the mine's power and reducing emissions by 33%.
We currently have an opportunity for a ROM Operator to join our Processing team at Dugald River Mine. Reporting to the Supervisor - Processing, you will be part of the ROM team responsible for all ROM activities, including feeding the ROM bin, sorting piles, removing steel and large rocks, rock breaking, surface water truck operation, and assisting in the processing plant as directed by your Supervisor.
This role is based on an 8/6, 7/7 (Days & Nights) roster, drive in drive out from Cloncurry or Mount Isa, Queensland OR FIFO from Townsville, QLD. Qualifications, skills & Experience A current C Class LicenceAbility to obtain a National Police Clearance and Pre-Employment MedicalA current RIIMPO304, RIIMPO321 (or industry equivalent) Experience on Komatsu WA600-8 wheel loader or similarA current RIIMPO301, RIIMPO320 (or industry equivalent) Experience on Komatsu PC490LC-11 ExcavatorHeavy Rigid Licence OR RIIVEH307 – Operate Heavy Rigid VehicleA current RIIMPO206 (or industry equivalent) ticket to conduct bulk water truck operationsExperience in a processing plant/crushing circuit highly desirableTo be successful in this role, you will possess a strong work ethic and a positive attitude towards safety.
