Apply today!Job Details Position Summary:Under general direction of the Operations Manager - QLD / NT, the overall purpose of this position is to work proactively as a member of the operations team in providing a 24 x 7 customer focused service responsible for:Performing operational functions effectively and efficiently, and in accordance with World Courier Global and Australian policies and procedures and regulatory requirements, which includes:Collecting and delivering customer shipmentsData processing job orders and organising collection and delivery of customer shipments, liaising with customers, agents, carriers and other World Courier officesPreparing and executing customer shipments for air export and import, utilising the company's shipment processing systems and completing regulatory clearancesMonitoring shipments in transit, initiating effective action as necessary to rectify issuesHandling customer enquiries by telephone or email, providing estimates as requiredAssisting with answering inbound telephone calls as necessaryActively supporting other functional areas of the business as requiredAny other duties as directed by the Operations Supervisor QLD / NT /National Operations Manager.Skills and Knowledge:Significant customer service and/or operations experienceStrong international & domestic geographic knowledgeAn understanding of Imports and Exports processes and statutory requirementsSound experience using the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel and OutlookExperience negotiating timelines and pricing with a range of stakeholdersStrong interpersonal and communication skillsSound level of numeracy and demonstrated attention to detailStrong time management and organisational skillsSound written and verbal communication skillsProblems solving skillsDemonstrated ability to work flexibly within tight time schedules and in accordance with variable workload demandsA calm and customer focussed approachAbility to use initiativeWhat Cencora offers?Benefit offerings outside the US may vary by country and will be aligned to local market practice.
