This is an excellent opportunity to further your experience and develop your technical skills and industry knowledge. This position has eligibility for a $5,000 sign on bonus. The RoleReporting to the Supervisor- Copper Concentrator, your primary responsibility involves contributing to the safe production of Copper Concentrator to the standard required using a comprehensive range of operating skills. This position is residentially based in Mount Isa. The work roster is 7 Days, 7 Off, 7 Nights, 7 Off.The successful candidate will be responsible for: Operational areas including fill plants, tailings processing, concentrate filtering as well as grinding and flotation assets.Working closely with Maintenance and Metallurgical teams to ensure that set targets are met, and that the operation runs efficiently.Develop and drive continuous improvement initiatives.The successful candidate will possess: Self-motivated and flexible with a high standard of work.A pro-active approach to safety and continuous improvement.Sound communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively within a small team.Milling and flotation experience is essential.Control room experience will be highly regarded.For further information, please contact:Bec McManus on Applications Close:8:00am Monday 18th November 2024
