Operations Team Leader

Reporting to the Site Manager, the Operations Team Leader will be someone with extensive experience in leadership and aquaculture. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of dedicated farmers, ensuring efficiency, productivity and adherence to Tassal standards. This position requires proven leadership skills, excellent communication and a real safety focus.
Additionally, the successful candidate will hold a Coxswain ticket and have on the water experience.
Enjoy a balanced work-life with a 7 day on/7 day off roster, allowing you to explore Tasmania during your off days. Accommodation is provided when staying away from home.
What does your week look like?

Based in Dover 60% of the time, but also travel to various locations across south-eastern Tasmania
Leading and supervising a team of operations staff, including coaching and training.
Developing and implementing strategies to optimise operation efficiency and productivity.
Fostering a culture of collaboration, teamwork and continuous improvement within the team and site.
Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
Assisting with bathing operations and harvest support.
