Operations Supervisor - Mining Apply
Overall Purpose of the job
To support the Branch Operational Team ensuring the team has adequate resources to conduct its daily activities, providing operational reports to Supervisor and the Operations Manager and team.
Serving customers at front counter with queries/pick up of freight, freight solutions duties.
Assisting the AM & PM supervisors when needed.
Provide support to the operations including in depot and PUD activities.
A major part of this role is supporting the customer Newmont – Cadia Mine site.
Managing their freight, compliance, training, billing, reporting and DIFOT.
Primary Duties, Oversight & Responsibilities
Action Sales Force customer service enquiries Freight Solutions – Track and Trace, check address enquiries, providing customers advice freight is ready for collection Managing customer depot collections and drop offs 3rd party con note printing & enquiries relief Assisting AM & PM supervisors when needed Stationery orders Ordering stock for depot e.g., con notes, satchels, operational stickers etc.
Support under roof operational activities including loading/unloading and PUD.
