Team Leaders/Supervisors (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics)Full timeThe Operations Supervisor is responsible for delivering efficiencies to the warehouse, logistics & distribution services, and to help service the business's customers. This role is for someone to be a 2IC of the site, but being a small, but growing team, there is a need to be a hands-on leader across both warehousing & transport.Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:Fleet Management and allocation of driversWorks collaboratively with all team membersRole models behaviors and sets clear expectations with the teamApplies and communicates consistent performance standards and expectationsSets others up for success by ensuring they have the right skills, capability, and support in place to perform their role to the best of their abilityEnsure the team is operating as per their required work standardsLoading/Unloading SupervisionWarehouse Operations & StorageHeavy Vehicle Operations & COR ComplianceVehicle Repair and MaintenanceInbound container booking & receiving, including stock GI & put awayTransport manifesting & allocationInvestigating why rejected stock occurs and finding solutions to minimize itBuilding and maintaining client relationships by understanding their requirementsIdeal Experience to be Successful:Minimum 2 years experience in a team leader or supervisor position for warehousing/transportGood knowledge of local delivery areas in SADemonstrated leadership and team buildingUnderstanding of WMS/TMSTruck license would be a bonus, but not essentialPhysically capable to assist the team where requiredAbility to work under pressure and communicate effectivelyIf this exciting opportunity is of interest to you, and you believe you have the relevant skillset, please click APPLY now!
