You will play an essential role in maintaining and creating a high-performing, positive, and safety-obsessed team culture. As the Operations Supervisor you will direct, co-ordinate, supervise and achieve service objectives regarding the cartage of Bulk Diesel through shift and driver management regarding fuel-related activities for assigned contracts.The Operations Supervisor will ensure that tasks are completed in the most efficient manner with agreed standards in operational procedures including strong emphasis on safety requirements. Be responsible for the allocations and despatch of Toll loads, regularly communicating with drivers and stakeholders, compliance and managing staff to ensure business objectives are achieved in a safe and cost-effective way.This is a role where leadership, customer excellence and operational efficiency all come together, and you will need to drive high standards whilst ensuring the site is being run safely and efficiently.Duties and Responsibilities / a day in the life of the Operations SupervisorOrganise vehicles and drivers to meet the customer load requirements.Monitor drivers to ensure that customer requirements are met.Ensure that all equipment and ancillary equipment is in operating condition.Comply with CoR (Chain of Responsibility) requirements, Fatigue Management, Mass Management and all aspects of the WAHVA.Ensure all Toll Drivers and subcontractors used have been appropriately reviewed in accordance with Toll and subcontractor management procedures.Actively participate in the roll-out of toolbox meetings and other communications to workers and contractors.What you will need to succeedProven experience in a similar transport, logistics or related industry.Knowledge of WAHVA legislation and regulations, and fatigue management.Intermediate computer skills preferably with Microsoft office suite.Ensure that all work is performed safely and that an ongoing commitment to safety is maintained including proactive actions to identify and reduce workplace hazards.Promote strong business relations with regular contact with internal and external stakeholders.DG Licence preferred and WA Fatigue Management Accreditation.Join us and take your career to new heights in the fast-paced world of logistics!What moves you?At Toll, you can help play a vital role in delivering what matters.
