The role We are looking for an Operations Supervisors to join our Global Logistics division based in Dampier W.A. Working Monday to Friday, the Operations Supervisor will assist the Operations Manager in meeting major client operational requirements through a safe and effective manner of scheduling resources.
The Operations Supervisor will manage their team to efficiently operate within the Toll Group Guidelines, with a focus on safety, compliance and meeting overall business priorities.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work at one of the Toll Group's largest facilities and develop a broad knowledge base within the Logistics Industry.
As the Operation Supervisor, you will: Effectively deliver value to major clients through understanding operational needs and offering solutions.
Lead, coach, and mentor team members to achieve business priorities through allocating resources and effective management.
Ensure employees and sub-contractors are appropriately trained, qualified, and competent.
Supervise Supply Base operations ensuring the applicable regulatory, legal requirements and contractual obligations are met.
Ensure fatigue management plans are developed for transport operations, together with compliance for commercial vehicle drivers.
Ensure HVA requirements and IMS requirements are met through maintaining plant and equipment.
Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need:
Experience in a similar role within the Oil, Gas or Mining industry.
Demonstrated experience leading, training and mentoring a team to meet business requirements.
A sound knowledge of freight management procedures and policies.
The capability to operate equipment safely and in accordance with Toll Guidelines.
Computer literacy skills – MS Office Suite and operational/project management systems.
