Job Description Oversee the entire compost production process to ensure optimal efficiency.Ensure daily, weekly, and monthly compost production plans and cleaning schedules are met.Operate machinery in accordance with safe work practices.Lead and motivate the team to achieve operational objectives.Assist in managing performance and development of team members.Implement strategies to improve operational performance.Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.Monitor inventory levels and manage procurement activities accordingly.Collaborate with other departments to achieve company objectives.Champion a safety-first culture and report any incidents in accordance with WHS policy. The Successful Applicant Minimum 3 years of experience within a supervisory or management role.Experience within an agricultural, fresh produce, or production environment.Ability to work as part of the larger management team but also autonomously and independently in the role.Knowledge of procurement and supply chain processes.Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.Ability to strategize and implement improvements to operational processes.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Passion for working in an outdoor environment, and willingness to pitch in where needed.Forklift and Front End Loader licence is preferred.
