Operations / Portfolio Accountant

We are working exclusively with a Private Group business which is a Queensland success story. With a long history in the region, this business has gone from strength to strength through its diverse operations.
Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit an Operations Accountant to manage a diverse mix of entities across various industry sectors. This role will keep you interested and provide fabulous commercial exposure and experience.
For 5 different entities within the Group and reporting to the Financial Controller and working with the FP&A Manager, you will be responsible for:
Month-end reporting and month-end close.Provide assistance with budgeting & forecasting.Cash flow projections and management.Tax compliance including Income Tax, BAS, FBT.Management Accounting and variance analysis.Bank and Balance sheet reconciliations.Business Partnering with GM's.We are looking for commercially minded candidates with exceptional communication skills to partner with each entity GM. You will be part-qualified or qualified CA/ACCA/CPA, self-driven with high attention to detail and take pride in delivering accurate and relevant reporting.
