Organisation: Victoria State Emergency ServiceOccupation: Emergency ManagementReference: VG/OFFLTRSWHL1833669$92,332 to $104,762 + 15% Commuted Allowance + 11.5% SuperOngoing - Full TimeOpportunity to travel Victoria and deliver unique training to dedicated volunteersROLE SUMMARY:The Operations Officer – Leader Trainer (OO-LT) is responsible for the design, review, implementation, and delivery of competency-based training and assessment programs & skills maintenance activities.The OO-LT provides support and coaching to casual and volunteer trainers/assessors, monitors the performance of contracted training providers, and maintains volunteer training and assessment records to ensure compliance with VICSES Registered Training Organisation (RTO) standards and VICSES Health and Safety standards.This role will actively undertake operational command and control functions during specific local, regional, and/or state-wide operations, performing the Regional Duty Officer function and/or Incident Management Team (IMT) role by maintaining appropriate accreditation and ensuring the allocation of resources for emergency readiness and response.Requirement: The successful candidate will need to be able to travel from their home or another non-work location to the Swan Hill office within 60 minutes when rostered on as the Duty Officer Outside of Ordinary Hours.WHO WE ARE:Victoria State Emergency Service (VICSES) is a volunteer-based emergency service.
