The Transwa division of The Public Transport Authority of Western Australia (PTA) is seeking an Operations Officer to join our team, providing essential operational support to our rail and road en-route services. In this role, you will be instrumental in the safe and efficient monitoring of Transwa's services, addressing and coordinating responses to routine disruptions, and supporting the Operations Branch. Responsibilities include handling on-the-ground issues at the East Perth Terminal, such as making public announcements, updating on time running displays, authorising rail departures, and distributing essential documentation to drivers. This position is key to ensuring seamless service delivery and an outstanding experience for our passengers.As a Transwa Operations Officer, you will oversee en-route services, respond to routine disruptions, and make remedial arrangements to ensure safe, efficient travel for passengers. You will also report major disruptions to the duty manager and assist in coordinating resolutions, as well as record operational data, conduct cleanliness inspections, adjust rosters, and manage lost property.
