This is an opportunity for an experienced Operations Manager to build off existing sector offerings in NSW, QLD and VIC regions and implement new Duratec offerings and business along the way.
In this role you will support business growth by securing new clients and projects and managing those projects through to delivery across multiple states.
The Operations Manager will be supported by the National Energy Manager and work alongside the Company, along with the executive leadership team that will work collaboratively to set and achieve growth strategies.
RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for executing a growth strategy focused on Fuel and Water Infrastructure based on financial gain and customer satisfaction. Your duties will include:
Work with the Energy Sector Lead and State Managers to leverage initial project wins and capabilities to continue significant growth in this sector and leverage this underserviced marketConduct research to identify new markets and customer needsUsing the existing in-house experience as a foundation, develop a coordinated delivery team to deliver multiple Fuel and Water infrastructure projects across the Eastern SeaboardDevelop a pipeline of Project Opportunities aligned with the business strategyDevelop and maintain client relationships to assist with the aligned pipeline of opportunitiesCo-ordinate and align with State and sector Managers to ensure efficient and effective utilization of group resourcesBid management – Strategically champion bids from engagement through to submissionDevelop and maintain relationships with capable and culture aligned contractorsSubmit progress reports to Management and take part in Management engagement meetings to give feedback on progressForecast sales targets and co-ordinate the successful achievement of targetsSet short- and long-term strategyABOUT YOU You are a motivated and progressive leader, who relishes autonomy and the opportunity to build a team culture that supports the Duratec Group's visions and goals.
Proven track record for delivering projects and developing new business within the Fuel and Water infrastructure environment.
You have come from a trade background and have progressed, and/or you have an engineering or construction management background.
Your capabilities include:
Extensive experience as an Operations or Business Development Manager in a Fuel and Water Infrastructure related construction environment, bringing an existing network of contacts within the Australian Energy Sector to facilitate a fast transitionDiversified experience with large portfolio management including multiple major construction and/or infrastructure projects worth more than $50MCommercial acumen with the responsibility for the financial success of multiple business unitsCommitment to business development and pre-contracts activityAbility to manage multiple business lines and deliver operational and growth strategies for allAbility to influence and drive teams to deliver contributions to business objectivesLocated on the Eastern Seaboard with the ability to travel regularly to meet the requirements of the roleTHE BENEFITS Short Term Incentives based on KPIs to drive success and recognition in the roleLong Term Incentives providing equity shares in the businessLatest model 4WD car, or alternatively a car allowance of $20kPaid parental leaveSalary sacrifice optionsNovated lease optionsSubmit your resume today and start a conversation with one of our recruiters.
