Liaising with Trades Coordinate with different trades and subcontractors for various projects. Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during the construction process. Ordering Handle the ordering of materials and supplies needed for construction projects. Ensure timely delivery and maintain adequate inventory levels. Quoting Prepare accurate and competitive project quotes for potential clients. Review and adjust quotes as needed based on project requirements. Permits, Licenses, and Insurances Obtain necessary permits and licenses for construction projects. Ensure all insurance requirements are met for projects and personnel. Labour Management Monitor and track labour and materials per stage of job. Fill in for the Director in their absence. Contracts and Variations Prepare, review, and negotiate contracts with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors. Manage project variations and ensure proper documentation and approval process. Purchase Orders Generate purchase orders for materials, equipment, and services. Monitor and track expenses against approved budgets. Project Schedules Develop and maintain project schedules to ensure timely completion of construction projects. Coordinate with various teams to keep projects on track. Review Invoices for Purchase Orders Verify invoices against purchase orders and contracts to ensure accuracy. Process payments in a timely manner and address any discrepancies. Administrative Management Oversee administrative tasks related to construction projects, such as record-keeping, documentation, and reporting. Implement efficient processes to streamline operations and improve productivity. Review Processes Regularly review and optimize operational processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
