With such an iconic, essential business in the Australian landscape we are confident that you too will be proud to grow your career at Elders.About the role We are looking for an Operations Manager – Retail to join the growing team on a Permanent Full Time basis The Operations Manager – Retail will support our Retail Asset Managers in managing a portfolio of Shopping Centres in line with client requirements. With the backing of the Elders network, you will be provided with the tools necessary and be supported to learn and grow your career. ResponsibilitiesAs a key member of the team, you will be responsible for;Day to day management of all matters relating to property operations, safety, risk and complianceEnsuring a Planned Preventative Maintenance Programme is established and managed appropriatelyBeing the primary contact for technical and maintenance adviceEnsuring all relevant statutory requirements are appropriately addressed Managing tenant relationships in regard to operational issues and satisfactionManaging capital and operational expense administration including budget preparation and forecastingAbout youTo succeed at Elders, you will have: a Property Representative licence or ability to attain one in the near futureTertiary qualifications (degree or diploma) in Facilities Management or other property related course e.g. Project Management, Construction or Trade qualification in electrical, mechanical engineering or plumbing or significant work experience and demonstrated success in a similar role or related industryGeneral knowledge of WHS legislation, principles and practicesGeneral understanding of key building servicesAnalytical and problem solving skillsExcellent business writing and oral communication skillsa current drivers licence About EldersAs a trusted Australian agribusiness, we have played an important role in the agricultural sector for 185 years.
