General/Business Unit Manager (CEO & General Management) As the Australian Institute of Building's Operations Manager, you'll be at the core of our operations, working closely with the CEO and staff to drive organisational efficiency and support strategic initiatives.
From coordinating high-level executive support to managing office operations, you'll play a pivotal role in creating a well-organised, forward-thinking environment that strengthens the performance of our organisation.
Key Responsibilities: Awards, Event, & Membership Engagement Support: Implement external awards and events, and support stakeholder and Member communications to advance AIB's mission.Executive Support: Be the go-to person for the CEO, streamlining and sharing workload, handling communications, and preparing essential documents.Governance Coordination: Coordinate board and committee meetings, administer and ensure governance standards, and maintain strong communication with Council members.Operations & Strategy: Support the CEO by tracking strategic initiatives, managing budgets, and providing insights that keep AIB on track.Office & Vendor Management: Implement office operations and vendor relationships, ensuring our workspace remains efficient and productive.What We're Looking For: A background in governance, business administration, or operations management.Experience supporting senior executives and managing governance processes.A strong communicator with excellent organisational and administrative skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ideally some project, membership/CRM or governance software experience.A collaborative, proactive approach and the ability to juggle priorities in a dynamic environment.Previous experience with Professional or similar Not For Profit organisations will be highly regarded.Why Join Us?
