This is a hands-on role and you will be expected to assist with cremations and keepsake duties to ensure our heavy workload is maintained We are the leading provider of pet cremation services in Australia with a national footprint.
We proudly partner with both veterinarian practices and their clients to offer pet cremation services to grieving families with our expert teams guiding them every step of the way.
Your duties will include: Lead, guide, and supervise the cremation, keepsake preparation and pet aftercare services teams in managing their activities in a timely manner Responsible for managing and training the teams in all aspects of their jobs Assist the client care team with investigations around customer complaints and expectations Manage the Human Resource activities and procedures in line with company's values and in accordance with relevant legislation Responsible for warehousing stock and stock management Take personal responsibility for upholding standards relating to presentation, property, hygiene, including prompt reporting of loss, damage, or maintenance needs Taking the lead on safety and implementing "toolbox" training and ensuring compliance with OH&S policies and procedures Responsibility for reporting hazards and risks that may cause harm or injury Organisation of rosters, covering annual leave and personal leave as required Ensure all cremation records are updated and maintained Manage the tagging and packing process About you: Comfortable handling pets with care, including occasionally dealing with deceased pets Minimum of 3 years' experience in a management / Supervisory role Excellent communication skills – written and verbal Strong attention to detail and exceptional customer service skills Intermediate computer skills, particularly Microsoft office Physically fit and able to lift up to 25kg Forklift license preferred Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and prioritise work effectively Ability to make well-informed decisions and work positively under pressure Q fever vaccinated Benefits of joining InvoCare: You may not have considered this industry before, but we provide vital services to families that helps them to celebrate the lives of those they loved.
