Access Canberra needs a temporary Operations Manager to fill a gap in the Parking Operations team through to May 2025, with potential for extension.
We are looking for someone who is a great communicator, makes informed and considered decisions, is confident with staff management processes, and has the IT skills to help support teams including using data to inform work.
This diverse regulatory compliance role will build your operational management skills, increase your regulatory compliance knowledge, and elevate your management experience.

Eligibility/ Other Requirements: Must be eligible to be appointed as an Authorised Person under the Road Transport (General) Act 1999 . Successful applicants:
Must be an Australian citizen or a permanent resident of Australia. Must successfully complete all pre-employment checks including police check. Must be considered a suitable person to be authorised, having regard in particular to: Whether the person has any criminal convictions; The person's employment record; Must successfully complete adequate training to exercise the powers of an authorised person. This position requires a current full "C" class driver's license and an excellent driving record. Provide a copy of your full traffic history for the last 5 years you have held a license. You may obtain your driving history from Access Canberra. Note: This is a temporary position available immediately until May 2025 with the possibility of extension up to 12 months. A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and may be used to fill identical vacancies over the next 12 months. This position is based at a workplace designed for activity-based working (ABW). Under ABW arrangements, officers will not have a designated workstation/desk.
