Reporting to the CEO, the Operations Manager Corporate Services is a key member of our Senior Management team.
The role leads a multifunctional team delivering finance, compliance, quality assurance, risk management, Human Resources, facilities management and IT services.
This role is based at our Wollongong office and will make a significant contribution to the ongoing strategic management and successful performance of Yilabara.
You will be responsible for leadership and management of Corporate Services functions including but not limited to:
Managing the SLA between Yilabara and our third party Financial Service Provider (The Breakthrough Office)Audit preparation and project managementGovernance, legal, and regulatory complianceQuality assurance, accreditation, audit and risk managementHuman Resources and Workplace Health and SafetyFacilities and Fleet Management across our offices located in NSWCoordination of IT services (via outsourced service provider)Member of Senior management team contributing to strong, supportive and strategic leadership across the organisationMinimum Requirements: Post graduate Tertiary qualifications in finance, business or related professional fieldSignificant executive level administration management experience within a NFP with government funding contractsExperience managing diverse range of functions within the Corporate Services environmentExperience working within Aboriginal Communities or organisations and/or a detailed knowledge and awareness of the cultural practices, values and issues that affect Aboriginal people in today's societyDemonstrated experience implementing and managing quality, compliance and risk management strategies and systems.
ISO 9001 experience highly desirable.Highly developed written and verbal communication skillsExceptional strategic planning, administrative, organisational, change management, budgetary and reporting skills.Proven experience in effectively leading, coaching, and mentoring an engaged teamExceptional knowledge and skills in finance, HR and related corporate services computer systems including Xero and Microsoft 365 suiteValid NSW Working With Children Check for paid employment (WWCC) and willingness to complete a National Police CheckDriver Licence (minimum Class C, P2).This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant contribution to a growing Aboriginal organisation with a commitment to Closing the Gap for Aboriginal people.
