YOUR IMPACTOur LM Operations team is seeking an Analyst/Associate looking for an opportunity to work on improving the STP rates, reducing interventions, improving the client experience and daily monitoring of trade booking and exceptions.OUR IMPACTOperations is a multi-faceted division that turns ideas into business realities. We partner with all areas of the firm to deliver corporate advisory, sales and trading, and asset management capabilities to clients around the world. Alongside that vital service delivery role, Operations provides essential risk management and control, preserving and enhancing the firm's assets and its reputation.Sydney Local Market Operations includes Middle Office and Settlement teams providing front to back support covering multiple products but predominantly listed equities, futures, foreign exchange and fixed income.HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIALWork closely with the Trading, Sales, Engineering, Global Operations and Clients to eliminate manual interventions and improve STP.Daily exception monitoring and resolution - this includes but is not limited to trade allocations, confirmations, breaks, and fails management.Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally (clients, custodians, exchanges, etc.).Analyze, determine root cause and drive remediation of post-trade manual interventions through configuration, change of behavior and/or technology change.Close interaction with experts from various different teams such as Technology, Projects and Trade Management. This role will involve a large amount of facilitation, negotiation of outcomes and timelines.This position description is intended to describe the duties most frequently performed by an individual in this position.
