About the opportunity

Elders has invested $25 million to establish a world-first, wool handling business and is looking for a warehouse supervisor to provide hands-on support to the Operations Manager in our newly built, state-of-the-art, warehouse.
Day to day, you will be integral in overseeing warehouse operations to ensure workflow is performed safely and efficiently to maximise throughput and ensure a seamless experience for our customers.
This is a newly created full-time, permanent position and would suit an experienced, team player who is solutions-focused and promotes a positive workplace culture.
Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate all warehouse activities, including receiving, processing, storing and dispatchEnsure timely and accurate processing of bales to meet volume targetsMaintain inventory accuracy and conduct audits as requiredCoach and mentor warehouse staff to optimise performance and foster a positive culture that embraces continuous improvementPrepare reports and review data to track key performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.Resolve issues or discrepancies that arise in the workflow of the warehouseCollaborate with various stakeholders to ensure seamless operations About you Extensive experience in warehouse operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team and promote a positive culture Solid understanding of warehouse processes and inventory management Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations Proficiency in using warehouse management systems and other relevant software Forklift licence is essential Experience operating AGV's would be an advantage Knowledge of the wool industry would be an advantage but not essential About Elders Elders is proud to be the last Australian-listed major agribusiness.
