What's the Role on Offer? Reporting to the Operations Manager, the OCC Duty Manager will oversee the day-to-day management of the Operations Control Centre Team, based at the Head Office near Brisbane Airport.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing the network schedule, identifying potential disruption events, and developing proactive plans for implementation as needed.
You will provide leadership and guidance to ensure operations achieve the highest levels of efficiency while maintaining professional communication with all stakeholders, both internal and external to Alliance.
Your expertise will be essential in navigating challenges and enhancing overall operational performance.
Delivery of the Airline Schedule by the OCC TeamManagement of Published Flight crew and Cabin crew RostersActively monitoring and optimising the airline schedule, to minimise airline disruption and maximise On Time Performance (OTP)Leading the recovery from significant disrupt events, ensuring the optimal outcomes for clients and guests and safely delivering on expectations.Provide mentoring and guidance to Operations Control Centre team in the event of operational issues arising.The OCC Duty Manager may be required to work 24 x 7 shift work.What's in it for me? Educated to Degree level in Business, Aviation Management or Aviation related discipline (desirable).5 years or more experience within Airline Network Operations (highly desirable).Demonstrated ability to provide leadership and guidance with a strong focus on teamwork and personnel management.Experience with managing operations control and crew management systems and understanding of associated data flows.Experience understanding/experience in Crew Resource Management, Rostering and the application of legislation and industrial agreements relating to crew.Well-developed communication and negotiation skills and the ability to foster and develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Ability to work under intense time pressures, often with conflicting priorities.Does this sound like you?
