About the RoleWe are seeking a proactive and organized Operations Coordinator to join our WA branch. In this essential role, you will support smooth operations through effective inventory management, production scheduling, purchasing coordination, and logistics assistance. You'll work closely with our despatch, joinery, and aluminium production teams to ensure materials are available, orders are accurately fulfilled, and stock levels are optimized.
Key ResponsibilitiesPurchasing & Stock Management: Oversee purchasing requirements with offsite support, follow up on urgent POs, and manage stock transitions for new products.Inventory Control: Conduct regular cycle counts to ensure stock accuracy, adjust minimums and maximums for optimal inventory levels, and implement stock control procedures.Production Coordination: Schedule jobs and materials for the joinery department, produce relevant paperwork, and coordinate with offsite aluminium door fabricators.Logistics & Dispatch Support: Monitor incoming shipments, liaise with freight companies, assist with logistics, and help resolve backorders as needed.Stock & Material Management: Handle Powdercoat orders, including stock transfers, purchase orders, and receipting. Sort out any incorrect or damaged materials from suppliers.Systems & Data Management: Create product codes for custom and one-off items, manage BOMs, and update the internal lead time matrix.RequirementsTo excel in this role, you'll need:
Inventory Management Experience: Familiarity with stock control, cycle counting, and inventory optimization techniques.Production Support Skills: Experience coordinating production schedules and materials for a manufacturing environment.Communication & Organizational Skills: Excellent attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in ERP systems, with experience handling BOMs, purchase orders, and production routing.BenefitsWhat we offer you:
