About the Role:

Our Innisfail depot is looking for an Operations Assistant to ensure our operations continuously flow to meet the needs of our valued customers.

Commencing on a roster of Monday – Friday with weekend coverage to allow full training.

As of January 2025, this role will transition into an equal time roster – 5 days on 4 days off | 4 days on 5 days.

A hybrid and essential role that will work across different functions in the office, we are looking for someone who is adept at working in a fast paced and ever-changing environment. You will have the ability to problem solve and tackle tasks with a mature attitude and methodical approach.

Any given day will see you working across such responsibilities as: Co-ordination of freight, deliveries & drivers for local and interstate.Raising and reconciling freight billsSite safety auditing.Loading planning and supporting operations where neededManaging freight bookings and time slot requestsThe facilitation and administration of customer orders and jobs receivedAd hoc administrative duties as directed by the Depot ManagerAbout the Company

To succeed in this role, we anticipate you will be able to demonstrate:
Prior administration experience with competent computer abilities.The ability to work well under pressure and multi-task.Have excellent time management skills, planning and organisational skills.Have a positive attitude with the willingness to learn.Be a team player with excellent customer service skills.Have a genuine care factor for the needs of the internal and external customer.Be willing to work a weekend roster & be flexible with start & finish times as per seasonal requirements.We pride ourselves on working in a way that brings our Values to life every day.
