We have been operating since 1987 and specialise in providing a diverse range of upmarket holiday cabin accommodation plus long and short term cabins along with caravan and camping sites.
Our target markets are Australian families, sporting and school groups, corporate guests, and international travellers.
We offer many on-site facilities including swimming pools, mini golf, licensed restaurant, BBQ's, tennis court, free Wi-Fi, on-site laundries and more.
We are established on 33 acres at Eight Mile Plains just 15 minutes South of Brisbane CBD.
Work at one of Australia's best Holiday parksGreat team environment, and supportive managementOpportunity to grow within the businessBe part of a successful teamWhat we are looking for Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence and negotiate effective outcomes.A good knowledge & understanding of OH&S and responsibilities.2-3 years' experience in a HR or Operations role, preferably within the Tourism industry.Strong level of IT proficiency and computer literacy, including knowledge of Microsoft Office.PMS, NewBook or similar reservations systems experience advantageous.Experience in operations of a tourism property.Knowledge of residential tenancies legislation (beneficial).Positive attitude, resilience and excellent presentation.Attention to detail and time management skills with ability to prioritise and operate under pressure.A high level of analytic and problem solving skills.Knowledge of emergency processes.Commitment to delivering a high level of guest service.Unlimited work rights in Australia.Current QLD Driver's License.Monthly Reporting.Recruit, develop and train our Team.Responsibilities Include Rostering of staff and payroll support.Administer and prepare employee contracts and associated paperwork.Update and maintain induction and training documentation.Assist in day to day human resources functions.Conduct workplace investigations; including performance management, disciplinary procedures and terminations.Advise and assist Managers to improve employee engagement and participation.Advise, guide and coach Managers on all people related issues across the employee lifecycle.Supervise, guide and hold staff accountable in the daily operations.Lead and motivate the team to continuously deliver a high level of Guest expectations and create a thriving culture.Assist in implementation of business strategies, plans, procedures, and projects.Assist with leadership and evaluation of a diverse team including Reception, Marketing, Housekeeping, Grounds & Maintenance departments.Assist with creating and updating of all relevant policies and procedures to reflect the company's culture, vision and standards.Assist with management of third party channels, e.g.
