Operations Assistant

Save Our Books Australia are advertising a permanent casual Operations Assistant position at our McLaren Vale site.

The successful applicant would be responsible for working in a team in our books sorting process and will ensure the effectivity and efficiency of these operations. While the successful applicant would comply with the direction of the owner, they are welcomed to suggest improvements to processes for the benefit of the efficiency of the operations.

The successful applicant must have a strong back to be able to lift 15-20 kilogram boxes throughout each shift.

$27 per hour. Full payment will be calculated based on the number of hours worked. Payment will be made within 24 hours after each shift.

Specific Duties Prepare the operations and bin areas to commence processing of books delivery.Sort books and book covers into skip bin and Cleanaway bin.Assist in flattening cardboard and placing it in the Cleanaway bin when applicable.Place lids back onto boxes.Manage the close-out process and clean the operations areas at the end of each shift. #J-18808-Ljbffr
