Overview of the role: Due to increasing demand for our services, we are currently seeking suitable Operations Administrator candidates for an immediate start.
Based in our Lidcombe office, you will be reporting to our Geotechnical and Drilling Managers and will sit within a team of 45 personnel to support our Geotechnical and drilling operations.
Duties of the role include, but are not limited to: Support management and the leadership team in the preparation of tenders, safety documentation, technical reports and administrative duties. Supporting back-end HR processes whilst onboarding new staff. Liaison with clients to supply relevant project documentation (safety, project and maintenance). Maintaining and updating both internal and external systems and databases. Obtaining quotes for project related requirements (travel, accommodation and equipment logistics). Procurement of operational equipment and consumables. Booking flights, accommodation and equipment deliveries as required. Invoicing and liaising with accounts department. Occasional delivery of light equipment to site (a vehicle will be provided). Occasional stock-take of consumables and equipment within the Sydney depot. To be successful in this role you will have: Previous experience in a similar position. A positive can-do attitude. Versatility to be able to work in both the office, yard and on occasions deliver equipment to localised field teams. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel etc). Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Honest, trustworthy, and dependable personality is highly regarded. Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment. High level of problem-solving skills. Great interpersonal skills and ability to work with a diverse work team. Strong WHS awareness and work ethic. Ability to liaise and communicate with clients in a positive professional manner. Driver's licence (minimum C). White card and Current First Aid Certificate would be advantageous.
