Operational Project and Change Manager - NSW Workers Compensation Gallagher Bassett (GB) is Australia and New Zealand's premier third party claims administrator. We are seeking a dynamic, driven and experienced Project Manager to join our Nominal Insurer function in NSW, which delivers claims management services to injured workers and insured clients.
Reporting to the Manager, Claims Excellence and Strategy, this role provides a unique opportunity to drive a wide variety of operational initiatives, work with a range of stakeholders, and grow your career in an exciting direction. You will lend your experience to build and grow the technical expertise, operations and processes across the function.
You will play a critical role in the successful delivery of projects and change through strict project governance, implementation and embedment, ensuring changes are managed effectively and driving the overall success of initiatives.

Responsibilities Lead and drive operational initiatives in line with the NSW Workers Compensation organisational business plan; Own the delivery plan of regulatory activities and drive implementation of compliance obligations; Review operational efficiencies and develop continuous improvement strategies within the claims operations; Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, GB operations, Senior Leadership Teams, Communications, etc; Monitor the status of projects and deliver status updates across the business and clients where required; Act as a liaison between different teams to promote effective communication and collaboration; Ensure items are prioritized in accordance with overall business plan and a pragmatic approach is taken by managing other pressing needs of the business unit as they arise. Qualifications Demonstrated experience in project/change management, or contributing to a wide range of business initiatives; Industry experience in insurance or financial services. Experience within the workers compensation field would be highly regarded; Proactive, with exceptional time management and organisational skills; Excellent attention to detail; Highly developed communication skills, with the ability to engage and coach at all levels of organisation; A strategic mindset and approach to work; A strong sense of team and collaboration; A resilient attitude.
