The Operational Excellence Lead will drive continuous improvement in manufacturing operations at a key site in Shepparton. This role is crucial for implementing an operational excellence program and utilising systems and tools to cultivate a culture of excellence. You will be instrumental in achieving the site's operational strategy and balanced scorecard goals, leading and managing a production line team to meet performance metrics.
Develop and enhance the capability of the production line team.Own the Daily Direction Setting process and manage 24-hour, multi-shift operations.Be accountable for line results, including safety, quality, reliability, schedule adherence, productivity, and cost control.Create and execute action plans, prioritise tasks, and allocate resources effectively.Build and empower self-sufficient teams, fostering continuous improvement and operational excellence.Skills & Experience: Tertiary qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.Exceptional leadership skills with a proven track record of fostering a collaborative and accountable culture within operations.In-depth knowledge and experience in food manufacturing processes.Demonstrated experience in leading and implementing plant reliability and optimisation programs.Strong communication skills with a collaborative, professional, and friendly approach. #J-18808-Ljbffr
